Description
I will leave this up to you. Is the sun about to rise on a new day, or is it kissing the desert goodnight?
I've lived in Arizona for nearly 25 years and the beauty of the desert continues to stir something inside me. I suppose it's an acquired taste, but I do believe we have some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
I tamed the orange, pinks and reds of an Arizona sunset down in this painting. Here I tried to capture the love affair between Heaven and Earth. The hot blooded sands of the desert floor are cooled by the billowing clouds overhead and in the twilight of the day the coyotes, snakes and lizards rejoice.
