Description
I came across this scene in a market in Sedona, Arizona and I knew I wanted to paint it. Sitting in half sun and half shade were a beautiful collection of blue and green pots. I wanted to buy them all. They looked so good as a collection. Riestras, which are strings of dried chiles hung on the wall as well as other terracotta art pieces featuring brightly colored frogs and lizards, and of course, the ever popular sun faces.
I can imagine these pots planted with cacti or bougainvillea cheering up an Arizona patio or perhaps a pot will become a much admired souvenir, a remembrance of a beautiful afternoon outing in Sedona.
