Artist's Description

I love to begin the weekend with a trip to our town's Farmer's Market. While the healthy come for the fresh assortment of fruits and vegetables, I come for the photographic opportunities.

Like this one. A multitude of jars covered this table. I love the shine on their silver lids and the bright colors of their contents. Pickles, jams, jellies, chutneys and salsas are just a few of the offerings I saw that morning.

I image the time it took to prepare all the food and then can it. I imagine all the time and hard work it took to grow it. And most of all, I like to imagine taking the time to eat it.

This would work great in a kitchen or restaurant that prides itself on serving healthy or organic foods.

"Sometimes I feel that there is not enough time in the day to paint everything I want to paint. I'm so captivated by this wonderful, beautiful world. If I can just continue to paint and share my work with...
