Having grown up in Cincinnati, Ohio I've long been a fan of my hometown hero, Charley Harper. He is considered an American Modernist artist, and to me he is a genius. His portrayal of animals is both unique and often humorous.
We lost Charley in 2007 and it's sad to think of his studio as empty. Fortunately, artificial intelligence is more or less able to pick up where Charley left off. AI will never be able to duplicate his talent, but the images I've asked it to create are reminiscent of his style.
This particular piece, "Deco Dragonfly" also has a very strong art deco vibe as well.
Thanks for the inspiration, Charley, and for making us all fall in love with Mother Nature.
